Ponies and Drawing

Dear Emily,

Wow, has your love for horses taken a huge leap over these last few days! Today, while I tried to teach a lesson, your sister brought you down to say hello and you were very insistant on wanting to grab a brush and brush the pony also. After the lesson we went over at a friends house to help photograph and take care of her horses. You were in my arms and I was handed a horse to lead. You quickly asked if YOU could lead the horse yourself! Since Whisky is an old, quiet, laid back horse, I let you lead him yourself... and you did, all the way back to her house. After Whisky was tied, you asked if you could pet the horse next to him.

You love them, and I think it's about time that I start purposely giving you more one-on-one time with them.

You also are asking to draw more often, here you can see a drawing you drew today while hanging out with your sister :)
